Plan field jobs around your planting windows

Read the calendar you will use

The GIANTS Academy treats Seasonal Growth and days per month as separate settings. Check both in your current game before using a planting or harvest window from another map.

Choose one season to plan. For each field, note its area, intended crop, planting period and the harvest period shown in your calendar. Keep these dates beside the plan so you can spot a deadline without reopening several pages.

Put machines beside the jobs

Break each field into preparation, sowing, crop care, harvesting and delivery. Beside each job, write the tractor, implement or trailer you intend to use. Mark anything you still need to buy, lease or confirm.

Now look for equipment appearing twice. Two jobs can fit their crop calendars while overlapping in your own schedule. Give them an order, move one within its available window, or compare the cost of another machine before relying on extra capacity.

Use the crop pages to look up recorded calendar information and the work-time calculator to estimate field work. Add your own allowances for collecting equipment, turns, unloading and travel. Keep the estimate and those allowances visible rather than hiding them in one unexplained total.

Review the next session before advancing time

Write a short list of what must happen next, in order. Check that materials and transport will be ready when each machine finishes. Leave some room for a task taking longer than expected; filling every available hour makes a small delay difficult to absorb.

Keep your choice of time speed separate from machine capacity. Changing the clock does not give two simultaneous jobs access to the same tractor.

At the end of the session, replace completed estimates with your observed times and move unfinished work on the plan. Recheck the calendar if you change maps, growth settings or calendar mods. This gives the next season a useful starting point instead of repeating assumptions that did not work.
