Give each part of the onion harvest a machine, an operator and a destination before planting the field. Start by confirming that Highlands Fishing is available: the Academy index marks the onion lesson as expansion content.
The onion lesson describes digging and foliage removal, windrowing, collection and transport. It also presents optional Holaras AS 25 packing. Build your plan around those separate jobs and check the exact equipment configuration in the current shop.
Write a handover sheet
For each stage, record what arrives, which machine does the work, where the result goes and who is responsible. Leave a blank wherever you still need to confirm compatibility. Resolve those blanks before spending money on a complete field.
Pay particular attention to collection and unloading. Decide where a trailer can wait without blocking the next pass and how it will return after delivering. If one tractor must serve several stages, sketch the order of work rather than counting that tractor as available everywhere at once.
Use equipment and compatibility for recorded relationships. When expansion machinery is absent from the catalogue, inspect the shop and official lesson. A similar-looking potato or vegetable machine needs its own support check.
Price the complete sequence
Keep a line for each purchase or hire quote, consumables and transport you intend to include. Write down any work a second player will handle. If that person is unavailable, revise the plan before starting; the machine list alone cannot show whether the job fits your session.
Compare a first field that you can finish with a larger field requiring additional coordination. Leave space in the budget and calendar for collection and delivery, even when digging appears straightforward.
Decide on packing after delivery works
Prepare a separate comparison for selling loose onions and selling a processed product. Inspect the intended recipe, input acceptance, output handling and current selling point in productions and in game.
Value the onions you would otherwise sell and include the new handling tasks. A higher advertised output value does not settle the investment decision. Record your first completed load before expanding the operation or committing to another facility.
